MMS and mobile data settings

For Android mobile phones

Mobile data settings

  1. Go to Settings → Wireless & Networks → Mobile network settings.
    Note! This guide could vary between Android versions finding your Mobile network settings.
  2. Enable Data roaming / Data trafic / Mobile data to be able to use mobile data on your phone. 
    Press OK if you get a warning when you enable Data roaming / data traffic / mobile data.
  3. Choose "Access Point Names" press Menu and choose Restore Standard Settings
  4. Again, Press Menu → New APN and fill in the following information:
    Name: Mycall Internet
    APN: internet
    Proxy:
    Port:
    Username:
    Password:
    Server:
    MMSC:
    MCC: 242
    MNC: 05
    Authentication type: PAP
    APN Type: default,supl
  5. Press Meny → Save. In APN overview there should be a new access point called "Mycall Internet"

MMS settings

  1. Again, press Menu → New APN and fill in the following information:
    Navn: Mycall MMS
    APN-name: mms
    Proxy:
    Port:
    Username:
    Password:
    Server:
    MMSC: http://mms.nwn.no
    MMS proxy: 188.149.250.10
    MMS port: 80
    MCC: 242
    MNC: 05
    Authentication type: PAP
    Type APN: mms
  2. Press Menu → Save. In APN overview there should be a new access point called "Mycall MMS"
  3. Press Home → Messages → Menu → Settings
  4. Under Setting for multi medie messages (MMS) enable the fieldsData traffic and Auto-retrieve / Roaming auto-retrieve.
  5. Restart your mobile phone to apply the new settings
  6. Done! Your phone is now ready to use mobile data and sending MMS
