- If you have received a message about 2G from us, it means your phone has been connected to the 2G network and is either locked to 2G – or not using 4G/5G as it should.
👉 This can often be fixed by enabling 4G voice (VoLTE) or checking your settings – see step 2 below. - If you have not received a message, but your phone still isn’t working properly, follow the steps below to check your settings.
Even if your phone supports 4G/5G, these features may be turned off.
Make sure 4G voice (VoLTE) or 5G is activated.
📱 iPhone
- Go to Settings → Mobile Data → Mobile Data Options → Voice & Data
- Turn on LTE/4G and/or 5G
👉 If you can’t find this option, your phone does not support 4G Calling.
📱 Samsung
- Go to Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks
- Turn on 4G Calling (VoLTE)
👉 If the option is not available, your phone does not support 4G Calling.

Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile Network → Enable VoLTE
- Make sure your phone is updated to the latest version of its operating system.
- Restart the phone after updating – this often fixes the issue.
Then you’ll need a phone that supports 4G Calling (VoLTE).
