Here you´ll learn all you need to get started with eSIM
A SIM card is a physical SIM card we insert into our mobile phones to make calls and use mobile data. An eSIM does exactly the same thing, but it comes in electronic form, meaning it's not a physical card you insert into the phone. eSIM stands for "Embedded SIM," which means it's "built-in SIM." Therefore, you don't need to insert anything into the phone; it's installed directly on the device. In short, an eSIM is a digital SIM card.
Of course, you can! If you have a watch that supports eSIM, you can set up an additional eSIM on the watch so that it's always connected to the internet, even if your phone is elsewhere. You can set it up using your phone. You may need to log in to mycall.no during this process.
Set up mobile data on your Apple Watch here
It takes about 5-10 minutes.
Most mobile phones released after 2018 support eSIM, along with many tablets and smartwatches. This includes devices like iPhone 11 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. You can check if your phone supports eSIM by dialing *#06# and pressing the call button. If it does, you'll see a line called eID on the mobile screen. You can also see if your phone is on the list below.
All Mycall customers with mobile phones that support eSIM can now switch their main SIM card from a physical SIM card to an eSIM. You can do this on My Page.
