What is eSIM?

A SIM card is a physical SIM card we insert into our mobile phones to make calls and use mobile data. An eSIM does exactly the same thing, but it comes in electronic form, meaning it's not a physical card you insert into the phone. eSIM stands for "Embedded SIM," which means it's "built-in SIM." Therefore, you don't need to insert anything into the phone; it's installed directly on the device. In short, an eSIM is a digital SIM card.

Why should I use eSIM?

  1. 1

Some mobile phones, watches, and other devices no longer have physical SIM cards and therefore must use eSIM.
  2. 2

With eSIM, you get it instantly; you don't need to wait for the postal service to deliver your new SIM card.
  3. 3

In the long run, we believe that the vast majority of mobile phones and technical gadgets will only support eSIM.
